Tovah Honor Aronin, PhD, Springer Nature, USA
Tovah Honor Aronin has been an Editor for BMC since 2016. Before moving into publishing, Tovah received her Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA, where she studied calcium signaling in yeast, developing a novel microscopy probe for real-time measurement of calcineurin activity. An early fascination with Punnett squares lead to a focus on genetics, which then broadened into an interest in the communication and application of scientific research across disciplines. Tovah is a Team Manager for the BMC series, an editor for the BMC series blog, and is interested in promoting best practices in health care.

Dawei Cui, Dr. med., The First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, China
Dr. Dawei Cui, M.D., is a Specialist of Medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Cui joined the Editorial Board of BMC Immunology as an editor since 2019, and became a Senior Editorial Board Member for BMC Immunology in 2023. He has about 20 years’ experience working in academic and clinical research, predominantly in the field of T cell immunity. His research focuses on the mechanisms of T cell function and differentiation in autoimmune diseases, cancers and viral diseases, and is supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He also serves in the editorial board and reviewer of many scientific journals



Kamla Prasad Mishra, PhD, Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences, India
Dr. KP Mishra is presently working as a senior scientist at DRDO-Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), Delhi. His areas of research are Immunophysiology, Viral immunology and Neuroinflammation. His special interest is environmental hypoxia induced immune alterations and therapeutics development. Dr. Mishra has more than 20 years of research experience in the field of Immunology. He has participated in XXVIII Indian Antarctic expedition to study the effect of stressful environment of Antarctica on human immune system. He is also a member of various committees of Ph. D programmes and serves as ad-hoc reviewer for international peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is elected member of the National Academy of Sciences, India and the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India. Dr. Mishra has also received several national and international awards in the field of Immunology.

Baojun Zhang, PhD, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China
Dr. Baojun Zhang is a professor in the Department of Pathogenic Microbiology and Immunology, and the Dean of Basic Medical School and Director of the Institute of Translational Medicine at Xi’an Jiaotong University. He obtained his PhD from Chinese Academy of Sciences and completed postdoctoral training in the Department of Immunology at Duke University. His group focuses on investigating the regulation of T cell development in thymus, as well as T cell differentiation and function in the healthy condition and disease conditions including infection, tumor and autoimmune diseases. The primary goal of his research is to identify new mechanisms controlling T cell fate and function, and potential targets for immunotherapies.
