A Forward Scatter/Side Scatter plot was created to acquire the whole leukocyte population separated into three discrete populations (lymphocytes, monocytes and granulocytes). Plot 2 was created (CCR3-PE vs. Side Scatter) and basophils were gated as CCR3pos and SSClow. Plot 3 was created (CD63-FITC vs. CCR3-PE) to determine stimulated basophils.
